Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer Southampton Commission

Once again, an individualized Porsche 911 rolls out of the halls of Singer Vehicle Design. This time the car is going to a customer in Southampton. He opted for a paint job in ‘Perfect Blue’ in combination with light blue and orange accents. The fuel filler cap peeks out of the front hood and the oil filler neck behind the right-hand door. In keeping with the familiar backdate design that Singer gives the 911 (964) used as a base, the Fuchs wheels and small exterior mirrors also show up. The brake calipers are orange with white lettering.

Suede in braided look

Inside, planty of orange-dyed suede is used. On the lightweight sports seats, the door panels and the dashboard, it has been artfully braided and each has been given inlaid turquoise blue accents. To carry the body color inside, the center tunnel, sill trim and the area behind the seats received accents in ‘Perfect Blue’. For the three-spoke sport steering wheel, Singer used black suede with light blue stitching. Even the trunk and the engine bay received a lining in orange leather.

Equipped for everyday use

In order to be able to use the car as often as possible in everyday life, the customer of the Southampton Commission opted for extensive equipment. His vehicle was fitted with air conditioning and a radio with integrated navigation system. In the rear is the four-liter, six-cylinder boxer engine with air cooling, familiar from other Singer conversions. It transmits its power to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission. As usual, Singer didn’t provide any information on the sales price.
