Bentley Continental GT Convertible Bavaria

Bentley’s customization department Mulliner is known for exceptional vehicle creations. Here they create both, noble special editions like the recently debuted Number 9 Edition of the Continental GT, as well as special features and equipment according to customer requests. For an exclusive presentation at the Munich-based Bentley dealership, a one-off model based on the Continental GT Convertible was created as a tribute to the German state of Bavaria. This Bavaria Edition is painted in Glacier White and wears a fabric hood in Imperial Blue to show the colors of the Bavarian flag. This is also to be found as an enameled motif on chromed metal on the front fenders. Next to that the car receives chromed grilles and 22-inch alloy wheels.

The design of the Bavaria Edition was done by Stefan Sielaff, Bentley’s Director of Design, who was born in Munich in 1962 and therefore understandably has close ties to Bavaria. Inside the car shows the Bavarian flag embroidered on all headrests. The dashboard has decorative trim panels painted in the exterior color, while the high-quality leather throughout the interior has been dyed in elegant dark blue. The shoulder area of the seats features quilted leather while the contrast stitching has been done in Linen. There are additional tread plates with the engraved inscription ‘Bentley Bavaria Edition’ behind the jubilee door sill plates with the engraved years 1919 and 2019, which will be installed in all Bentley models build this year.
